Beaded Lace Workshop
Our Beaded Lace workshop is structured to teach the techniques using the Studio 180 tools to create the units in the pattern. The Tucker Trimmer and Corner Beam tools and pattern are required for class. In the workshop, we will be making the units for the Queen size quilt.
About the Pattern:
Combining Corner Beam Units with Uneven Chain Units creates the illusion of a quilt made on point. Adding an accent fabric and a properly placed dark fabric helps to create a wonderful beaded effect on this quilt. This is a great project to use some of your fat quarters for the lap and queen size quilts. Make it scrappy or make it “planned scrappy”; either way the effect will be dazzling.

- Pattern includes three project sizes: Lap (63” x 63”), Queen (83” x 83”), and King (104” x 104”) Queen Size will be the focus of AQR's workshop.

| Requirements: | Every Student is required to have their own Pattern for this class. In the workshop, we will focus on the units for the Queen Size quilt. If you intend on creating the Queen Size Quilt, you will need: 16 Fat Quarters 2/3 yard of Accent Fabric 2/3 yard of Dark Fabric 6 1/4 yards of Background Fabric 2/3 yard of binding You will also need the Tucker Trimmer & Corner Beam Tools. Both are available in our quilt shop and can be pre-ordered online so they are ready for you when you arrive for class. |
