Quilter's Rule - Star 60 Tool
AQR's original series is all about the tools & techniques that we as Quilters love so much! Maybe it is a tool that we haven't used enough or a new one that is just hit the market - we will explore them all with our great series by featuring one a month.
If you are looking for an entry level lesson to learn how to make 60 degree shapes, units and blocks, You have found it here!!
In class, you will learn all about the newest tool in the Studio 180 toolbox, how to use it and the kinds of blocks you can create with it. Our hands on learning technique class it perfect for any skill level.
Just like with all of the Studio 180 Design tools, The Star 60™ tool brings the same concept of oversizing and trimming down into the realm of 60 degree shapes. The tool itself begins with a basic Star 60 unit, containing a diamond and two small triangles in 17 different size options, and then teams this unit up with a multitude of additional shapes to create an array of amazing 60 degree quilt projects.
