AQR is excited to host Tina Dillard, of Quilting Affection Designs, for our Quiltapalooza® Special Event!  Learn from Tina herself what inspired this stunning work of art, that will bring a whole new level of elegance to your quilting technique.  The collaboration of the Studio 180 Design Wedge Star tool and Diamond Four Patch technique produces one stunning quilt, that you'll learn how to create during our 4-day Quiltapalooza® Special Event!

Tina is the driving force behind Quilting Affection Designs, as well as a good friend and fellow Studio 180 Design Certified Instructor.  Tina is a talented, published pattern designer, featured in several magazine, as well as an Island Batik Ambassador.  With Tina's vast experience, the knowledge she'll share during our Quiltapalooza® Special Event will elevate your quilting experience.

Your Quilting Adventure during our 4-day Quiltapalooza® Special Event will begin with a Thursday evening Trunk Show and Get to Know You session.  After a good night’s rest, you will spend the next two days learning how to use your Studio 180 Design Wedge Star Tool  and Diamond Four Patch technique to create the blocks in Tina's Collaboration pattern.  After each day’s instruction and all day on Sunday, the classroom will remain open late for you to practice the skills you learned in class and to allow you to make progress with your quilt’s completion. 

It measures 67” x 67” when completed. 

This  quilt is all straight piecing with NO Y-Seams!

Ballroom will remain open for sewing after class, dinner on your own.

9am - noon      Tentative Additional Classroom Time if needed.  
Ballroom will be available for an Open Sew Until 2pm

Other Information to know about the Event:
 - All Breakfasts & Dinners are on your own.  Guests are not required to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, but we have reserved a block of rooms for our guests at a special rate of $99/night that includes a hot breakfast.  
 - Every Guest is required to have their own ORIGINAL copy of the Quilt Pattern.
 - Our Team will send out updates on this event to the email address with which you register.  Please watch your emails and especially for our final registration email that goes out 60 days prior to the event.
 - Precutting for this event will be included in the email that is sent to you 60 days prior to the event.
