Nicole Merriam Returns for a Quiltapalooza Special Event!

AQR is excited for the return of our good friend Nicole Merriam, The Heart of a Quilter, for our Quiltapalooza® Special Event!
August 14 – 17, 2024
AT A NEW LOCATION
The Lodge at Chalk Hill
2920 National Pike
Chalk Hill, PA 15412
Register by June 30th and we will include a copy of the Pattern with your Registration!
You know her, you love her, and now she's returning for a BRAND NEW Quiltapalooza® Special Event! Join our dear friend, Nicole Merriam at a BRAND NEW LOCATION and learn how to Tuckerize and create this stunning project, the Kaleido - Medallion!
Our Quiltapalooza event will be one to remember as Nicole walks us through the process of how to take a traditional kaleidoscope design and turn it into a beautiful medallion using the Studio 180 Design Wedge Star Tool and Fractured Wedge Technique. Intimidation be damned! This is the perfect challenge for the confident beginner to increase their skillset, especially when you take into consideration the finished size comes in at 33" x 33". The blocks themselves finish at 9” (which is the same size as the blocks in the Alaska quilt) so they are not super tiny. Want to make this project bigger?….. Nicole is going to talk tuckerizing this project on the last day of the event. But be sure to register quickly, as we have limited space available at our NEW location!
That's Right! You read that correctly, a BRAND NEW LOCATION! We are excited to be partnering with another local business and to be hosting this exciting event at The Lodge at Chalk Hill. Nestled in the Heart of the Laurel Highlands, right along the National Pike. This beautiful facility is located just 15 minutes from our Quilt Shop and boasts a newly renovated event space where we will be spending our days learning. You'll have the opportunity to learn how to Tuckerize from a genius in the field, all the while enjoying the peace of the scenery around us.
We hope you are just as excited about this opportunity as we are! We do expected it to fill quickly, so if you are interested, please visit our website to register. If Registration is at capacity, but you are interested in attending, please make sure to place yourself on the waiting list. We always call the waitlist first if something comes available.
