Electric Quilter Software

Tina Dillard, Friend and fellow Studio 180 Certified Instructor visits the AQR Classroom to instruct this two day in-depth lesson on the Electric Quilt Software.

Are you new to EQ8 (Electric Quilt) software and unsure where to begin? This course is designed specifically for beginner EQ8 users seeking a comprehensive learning experience. You’ll receive an in-depth tour of the software, gaining a clear understanding of the three worktables, the Project Sketchbook, and how to easily navigate the workspace. By the end, you’ll be ready to design your own beautiful blocks and quilts with confidence!

Join us for this two-day course to master the essential tools for quilt design. Learn how to edit blocks from the EQ Block Library to suit your project, add borders in a variety of widths and styles, and explore ways to expand your EQ8 fabric library. You’ll also discover the wide range of printing options available and learn how to quickly find yardage estimates.

Through hands-on practice and repeating key steps, you’ll stay engaged as you create beautiful quilts and blocks. As your skills grow, you’ll become less reliant on step-by-step guidance and leave the course with the confidence and ability to design independently in EQ8.
